Poppy’s Picnic produces fresh raw dog food, handmade in the heart of Wiltshire, using quality local ingredients. The subscription based business is disrupting the £2.6bn pet food industry in the UK.
We leveraged the team’s successful appearance on BBC’s Dragon’s Den by launching an equity crowdfunding campaign to coincide with the show airing on prime-time television.
We provided end-to-end support for the entire fundraise working closely with the team on designing an effective investment strategy to raise the capital required to grow the business.
We worked closely with the team to produce all of the crowdfunding campaign and investor assets including pitch deck, video and investor communications and supported the team every step of the way until the round closed.
"We had discussed the concept of a crowdfund raise for our business but, frankly, didn’t have the balls to commit. Then we met Raising Partners. It was immediately apparent that they had the experience, expertise and sheer skill to see us through with aplomb. Having them by our side gave us an enormous boost of confidence and it was invaluable to have their calming, reassuring presence throughout what proved to be an all-consuming project.
Having now been through the crowdfunding process from start to finish, I would urge others not to even consider it without Raising Partners by your side."
