Summary

Investment for
a complex
technological
innovation

Celtic Renewables’ patented low-carbon technology converts unwanted, low-value residues from the whisky industry into high-value, low-carbon sustainable chemicals & biofuels.

Having been previously named the Most Innovative BioTech SME in Europe, Celtic Renewables was on the brink of completing construction of the UK’s first biorefinery and were looking to raise a large round in order to bring their plans to fruition.

The team sought Raising Partners’ support in taking a complex technological innovation and breaking it down to attract investment from across the entire spectrum: from family offices to angel investors to retail investors.
